What is the trick to grabbing an WAN ip address from Comcast modem? Router stuck in renewing status and unable to grab an wan IP after putting modem into bridge mode. However the router will grab an local IP if not bridged. Tried several times rebooting both devices, powering cycle the modem first then then router No luck. I've seen several threads on this but no clear answers. I am helping a friend by the way mine is working. LOL Should I change the mac address on the router?
