I'd like to have my Tomato router act as a mail relay to allow non-TLS-capable clients in my house (such as a very smart but old Canon scanner) to send mail via Gmail.
I see from searching the forums that this question hasn't been asked for a few years, and the answer was back then that the devices weren't "powerful enough". Has the situation improved in the meantime?
