WAN port auto-shutdown for scheduling internet disconnectivity

I need to schedule a complete internet disconnect. As close to physically disconnecting the cable to the WAN port as possible.

I have been unable to verify the effects of Access restriction -> Block All Internet Access, as the logs do not reveal the actual effect implemented, but logic suggests it is merely a universal iptables DROP rule implemented for everyone (unless specified otherwise). Found no Wiki or documentation on this.
