I manage a small network of computers that get to the internet via a Asus ac68u with tomato on it.
Recently it seems that i got some attention from some guys that are trying with many different ips to bruteforce my rdp ports (i have a few that are needed for different lan computers).
I have some mitigation already in place like this:
iptables -I INPUT 3 -p tcp -i vlan2 -m state --state NEW -m recent --set
iptables -I INPUT 4 -p tcp -i vlan2 -m state --state NEW -m recent --update...
