I noticed that my network printer wouldn't print. I tracked it down to the fact that the computer I was trying to print from was given an ip address in a different subnet than what the printer was on. Ii.e. the router was giving out ips in the 192.168.1.* subnet instead of the one I use. I disconnect everything and plug in a cable to the router, I try to erase nvram. Router reboots.
