Stubby question

I want to use the built in Stubby but I am not sure if I need or should run DNSSEC and Stubby at the same time. Can someone advise? At the present time I have enabled Stubby with the following settings but have not enabled DNSSEC.
Stubby (DNS-over-TLS) (Box Checked)
Priority: No-Resolv
Log Level: Warning
