I'm looking at suggesting either a Router or Access Point purchase for my friend's house to replace the extremely poor WiFi performance she is getting out of her ISP's cable modem/wireless gateway all-in-one hardware solution. Currently she has an ISP provided Technicolor DPC3848VM device. With several WiFi devices in her house now, the WiFi seems to become unresponsive almost daily.
