Access Point with IP address from DHCP server

Long time user of Tomato as the gateway router and APs who has purchased his first "real" access point, in my case a TP-Link EAP225.

One of the things I would like to emulate with my Tomato based APs is to access their GUIs using an IP address provided to them by the DHCP server on the gateway rather than setting them up manually the way things currently are.

Is there a way to do it or are static IPs still the only way?
