Here is my setup:
Modem ->
Gateway A: 192.168.2.x subnet [Actiontec R1000H, base firmware) ->
Gateway B: 192.168.1.x subnet [Advanced Tomato]
In other words, I have my ISP's Gateway (A) directly connected to the fiber modem. For a long time, everything on my network sat in this subnet (192.168.2.x)
