I'm still running wrt54gls as wireless access points, switches and router.
I've have more sophisticated routers, but they have all died terrible wireless connectivity deaths, and I got tired of paying hundreds of dollars each time for a new router, not including the months of denials that 'no, the router is perfectly fine, it just needs a power cycle to fix it (again)'.
The gl's have been perfectly serviceable with dead reliable wireless.

Asides from Asus RT-N16, what's a good robust legacy router with a good cpu and lots of ram?
