Upgrading router - new one can't see internet

I am upgrading my Belkin N300 router running 1.28.7502 MIPSR2Toastman-RT K26 Usb Ext to a Netgear R7000 (primarily for the USB3 port which will have faster file transfers) running freshtomato 1.28 (I also tried advanced tomato and it also did not work). Everything works great on the old tomato router.
