I'm running Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-140 K26 USB AIO on a Netgear WNR3500L v2. The router is located in the cellar and we live on the ground floor. As there is steel in the ceiling/floor the signal strength/quality has always been quite low. But with one Laptop, two smartphones and a printer everything worked quite well.
