I can't access my tomato router

I've 30/30/30 reset the router. If I turn everything on, and connect the laptop to the router with ethernet, and go to 192.168.1.1 it will present the login page. i can login in fine. Whenever I try to do anything on that page, I lose access, cannot find IP, and I can never get back to the home page. It's telling me it can't establish a connection to the IP address. The same IP address that just worked 10 seconds earlier. I can't find any way to stay connected.

time for new router?
