apartment security OCD - VLAN SSID's?

I'm wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction. I have an 8 room apartment with a single SSID in place. I recently activated AP isolation, so guest devices can't talk to each other, but it got me to thinking how else to provide security for residents (I put AP isolation in place because we had a resident who couldn't use a payment gateway service because somehow the gateway detected too many devices on the network & flagged it as a public network).

Would it degrade service...
