Please help evaluate my design

Hello all,

I have been studying the tomato firmware for my school project on using vulnerable Internet of Things devices and have come up with a design for a 'light version' of tomato suitable for home-users with no knowledge of networks to isolate their IOT devices. The main principle of my design is that users are not able to configure their router correctly due to inexperience, therefore they should only be allowed to manipulate 'devices' and 'internet access' within.
