Tomato crash conundrum

I have a problem that is driving me crazy. My N16 tomato router is rebooting at random times for no apparent reason. I've reflashed from scratch several times (using Shibby's 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-138 K26 USB AIO). I have 2 N16's and they both behave identically. Yesterday, I reflashed again, and only configured the bare minimum to get my network functioning (1 VLAN + V-wifi for guests using port 4 of the router) and added no other configuration.
