Cant open web admin through port forwarding

Hi,

I have a Tomato running as WiFi AP. I enabled both local admin access on default port of 443, and remote access on a different port. I forwarded ports on my router to both 443 and the other one to the Tomato. However, no matter what I try, I get connection refused. It works fine when I try the same to my NAS administration. Is this some kind of security measure? How can I access my Tomato web admin from WAN if it's not being a router?
